Oregon Ghost Town Tour #2

In Spring of 2022, our family took a day trip to visit some historical ghost towns in Central Oregon. We visited Antelope, Shaniko, and Kent, Oregon – then we were hooked! We planned a second tour to see even more Central Oregon ghost towns. Join us as we take you through 6 more historic ghost towns. Grass Valley, Moro, Wasco, Boyd, Dufur, and Friend.
Part 1 of this tour begins in Grass Valley, OR, then proceeded through Moro and Wasco. After we toured Wasco, Or, we drove about 2.5 miles Northwest to view the cemetery that served the ghost town. This cemetery was established in 1899. This quiet, peaceful cemetery rests on top of a hill with lovely 360 views. There is an even older cemetery across the street, Wasco Methodist Cemetery (established in 1872), but it is completely closed off for visitation.
