We recently visited Crater Lake and had to stop in to see the haunted Crater Lake Lodge built on the very edge of the crater rim. This lodge is built right on the rim if the crater and provides stunning views of the lake. But during winter it is covered in snow, and the winter caretaker likens those cold months to The Shining. Guests report a menacing presence that prevents them from sleeping and causes night terrors. There is also the rumor of a ghostly girl haunting the halls and a Chinese man haunting the elevators.
